Ruth Kadiri has publicly refuted circulating rumours that she has died. The actress and filmmaker addressed the false claims in a video she shared on Instagram on Sunday, stating she is alive and has not been involved in any accident.
In the clip, Kadiri urged her followers to disregard the misleading posts and to report any social media accounts that are spreading the unverified news. She said,
"Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,"adding that she was deeply concerned by the number of accounts allegedly created to circulate the false information.
She appealed to her supporters, saying,
"I am alive!! Please help me report. Please, I’m begging you, help me report it!! Any page that carries such news. I am really sad at the extent to which some people will go on this social media space to hurt and wish death on another person. I stay in my lane. Leave me alone. I beg you all. It’s really becoming tiring and sad."
The actress’s clarification comes amid a growing trend of unfounded death reports involving public figures on social media. Fans are encouraged to verify information before sharing and to use platform tools to flag misleading content.
