Ridge Hospital Urges Public to Identify Family of Unidentified Accident Victim

The Greater Accra Regional Hospital, better known as Ridge Hospital, has issued a public appeal seeking help in locating the relatives of an unidentified woman who is currently receiving treatment after reportedly being knocked down by a vehicle and abandoned at the scene.

She was transferred from Maamobi General Hospital with multiple injuries, including fractures to her right arm and forearm, according to the hospital’s appeal. No family members have come forward to identify or visit her since her admission.

Despite the absence of relatives, the hospital has continued to provide medical care and support, including medication and other essential items, and has recently covered the cost of her surgery.

The hospital has urged anyone who recognises the woman or has information that could help trace her family to contact its Client Relationship Unit. The unit can be reached on 055 172 7552, 053 784 7874 or 024 394 9636.

Ridge Hospital stresses that family support is vital to the patient’s well‑being as she continues her recovery and has asked the public to share the appeal to help reunite her with her relatives.
