Polytanks Ghana has rolled out its EduAid Initiative, a programme that will deliver water bottles to lower primary pupils and exercise books to upper primary and Junior High students in selected communities across the country. The first batch of supplies, consisting of 10,000 water bottles and 200,000 exercise books, was handed to students at the Baatsona TWMA cluster of schools and Ashaiman No.2 Junior High School.
Media relations manager Moudline Duodua‑Gyan said the water bottles are intended to encourage regular hydration among younger pupils and promote healthy habits that can contribute to their comfort, concentration and overall well‑being. The exercise books are meant to ease the financial pressure families face when preparing their children for a new academic year.
She added that the initiative is part of Polytank’s broader commitment to supporting the well‑being and development of Ghanaian families and communities. “Polytank is more than a product that has been present in Ghanaian homes for generations. We have grown alongside families, witnessed their milestones and become part of everyday life. EduAid is an expression of that relationship. We want to be part of the journey of the next generation by supporting them as they learn, grow and build their future. It is our small but meaningful contribution to helping children begin the school year with confidence and the tools they need to learn,” she said.

Students at the Baatsona TWMA cluster and Ashaiman No.2 Junior High School expressed great excitement and appreciation for the gesture. The headmistress of the Baatsona TWMA primary school described the programme as a timely intervention that will support students some of whom have not had a single book since they resumed from the vacation.
Deputy Director in charge of supervision and monitoring at the Tema West Municipal Education Office, Abena Mensah‑Brown, who was present at the distribution, lauded the EduAid initiative and called for its continuation to provide regular support to students and their families.
Twenty‑three more schools across different regions are scheduled to receive the Polytank EduAid package by the end of October.
