The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has officially accredited 42 agents for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage. The approval, announced on September 3, 2026, came in a press statement signed by PAOG Director of Communications, Alhaji Mohammed Amin Lamptey.
In the release, Lamptey advised all prospective Ghanaian pilgrims to transact only with the accredited agents and to be wary of individuals posing as such. He also noted that pilgrims may make direct payments to the Hajj Board secretariat and that the board will not accept partial payments.
The statement urged the public to pay their Hajj fares promptly to avoid last‑minute inconveniences and to visit the Hajj Board website for the full list of accredited agents and their details. While the current list stands at 42, the PAOG indicated that additional agents may be added later.
It was also mentioned that the 2027 Hajj fares remain unchanged.
