Eric Adjei, Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), confirmed that selected applicants for the 2026 Adwumawura Programme will start receiving notifications today, Friday, September 4.
In a Facebook post, Mr Adjei outlined the next steps: registration will run from Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11, 2026, at the designated training centres across the country.
He added that training is scheduled to commence on Monday, September 14, 2026, and that training partners will reach out to successful applicants with further information on the registration and training process.
"The Training is expected to commence on Monday, 14th September, 2026 across all the training centres," Mr Adjei stated, emphasising the programme’s tight timeline.
He congratulated the newly selected participants, wishing them success as they embark on the programme, and urged those who were not selected to remain hopeful, saying,
"we will continue to design and implement other programmes to support your businesses."
NEIP’s Adwumawura Programme is part of the government’s broader strategy to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation across Ghana, providing training, mentorship and funding opportunities to budding business owners.
Applicants who receive notifications should act quickly to complete the registration process before the September 11 deadline, as spaces are limited and the programme is highly competitive.
NEIP will monitor the application pipeline and may open additional cohorts in subsequent years, ensuring continued support for Ghanaian entrepreneurs.
