Mrs Doris Emma Doryumu, formerly known as Dove, died on 25 September 2026. She was a respected member of the Adum family of Akropong Akwapim, the Rev. Edward Amadi family of Aburi and Akropong, and the Dove family of Ghana and Sierra Leone.
Her burial and funeral will take place at the Accra Ridge Church. The filing of her body is scheduled for Friday, 25 September 2026 at 8:00 am, followed by a burial, thanksgiving and memorial service at 9:15 am the same day. Final funeral rites will be conducted at Wanshi Gardens, Asylum Down, also on Friday, 25 September 2026.
Mrs Doryumu leaves behind five children: Dr Bernard Doryumu, Mr Casely Doryumu, Mrs Shirley Laryea, Mr Francis Doryumu and Mrs Easterlene Afful.
Family members and friends are invited to attend the services to honour her memory and celebrate her life.
