Kylian Mbappé found the net twice for Real Madrid, scoring his 10th and 11th league goals of the season in a 3‑1 win over Sevilla on Thursday night.
Jose Mourinho’s side opened the scoring in the 30th minute when Arda Güler struck from the edge of the box, giving Sevilla a brief lead.
Seven minutes later, Mbappé doubled Real’s advantage, beating goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos before slotting the ball home. He later converted a penalty after being fouled inside the box, cementing the win.
Sevilla fought back in the second half, with Felix Correia’s volley deflecting over the crossbar and Manu Bueno curling a corner‑goal, but Real’s lead proved too much.
Mbappé’s 11 goals in 11 games across all competitions underline his strong start to the campaign. Real now sit six points behind Barcelona, with the next match a crucial El Clásico at Barcelona on 25 October.
