Leeds United marked their return to the Premier League with a dramatic 1-0 win away to Nottingham Forest, scoring deep into stoppage time to steal all three points at the City Ground.
Forest dominated large parts of the contest, holding 54 per cent of possession and forcing nine shots to Leeds' seven, but could not find the breakthrough despite two shots on target. Leeds held firm defensively and struck in the 88th minute to snatch a famous victory, capping a strong start to life back in the top flight following their Championship title win last season.
