The Eastern Regional Police Command announced that peace has been restored in Larteh after disturbances erupted during the Ahenase Odwira Festival on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
In a press release issued Sunday, October 4, the Command said additional personnel were deployed to the town to bolster security and maintain peace and order.
Police also stated they are engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure lasting peace in Larteh and warned that anyone breaching the peace would be dealt with firmly.
