Parents and guardians in Accra will enjoy up to 40 % off on a wide range of school supplies at the Joy FM Back‑to‑School Fair, held on September 4 and 5 at the station’s car park in Kokomlemle from 8 am to 8 pm each day. Vendors will offer discounted laptops, tablets, smartphones, school bags, shoes, clothing, textbooks, stationery and other essentials.
“Convenient shopping is one of the things that drove us to set up this Back‑to‑School discount fair,” said Maxwell Fugar, General Manager for Sales and Marketing at Multimedia Group Limited, on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show. He added that the fair was created to ease the stress parents face when preparing for a new academic year and to reduce the financial burden on families.
CompuGhana will provide up to 40 % off on selected electronics such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, routers, headphones and power banks. Other participating vendors include Flo Ghana, Kingdom Books, Habs Logistics, Prestige Children’s Palace, Paddington Publications, Universal Knowledge Kingdom Limited, Beckett’s Daily Clothes, ZoomZoom Limited, Media Brain, Kivo Products, Salje Bookshops, Unilever, SHS Online, Chalene Bookshop and Afran Publications.
Mr Fugar highlighted that the fair would serve as a one‑stop shop for students of all ages, especially senior high school students whose placements will be released tomorrow. He also announced that Sunrise Christian High School, located in Takla in the Volta Region, will be present to offer instant admission to prospective students on Friday and Saturday.
“Shop for convenience and cheaper than what is available on the open market,” Mr Fugar urged, encouraging families to take advantage of the discounts and the ease of buying all necessary items in one location.
The event is sponsored by CompuGhana and will run for two days, giving parents ample time to browse and purchase school essentials at reduced prices.
