Accra’s emerging artist Jay Nice WorldWide will host the latest edition of his live music event, Jay Nice Unplugged, on Saturday, October 31 at the Soweto Pub. The show is scheduled to open at 7 p.m. and will be free to the public.

Performers slated for the night include Blakid, Keddi, Epixode, Papillon Blood, Long Lyf, Rhyno Iver and Delart. Jay Nice has also hinted that established musicians such as Samini, Tinny, Edem, Ayisi AI, Jupiter and Trigmatic could make surprise appearances.

“Samini, Tinny, Edem, Ayisi AI, Jupiter and Trigmatic are some of the artistes who usually pass through my events to surprise the fans. I can’t promise who will show up this time, but my fans should expect an exciting night of great music and surprises,” Jay Nice told Graphic Showbiz on Monday, October 19.

The performances will be backed by the Mastermind Band, while OB DJ and DJ 44 will handle the turntables. Jay Nice Unplugged is part of the artist’s effort to create a platform for live music performances and bring musicians closer to their audiences.

Hailing from Dansoman, Jay Nice blends Afro‑dancehall, reggae and hip‑hop, using storytelling to explore themes such as resilience, loyalty, love and personal growth. A University of Ghana graduate, he has also worked as a road manager for Trigmatic and has collaborated with artists including Yaa Pono, Gas Mila, O Town, JAM, Yaw Dhope and Ara B of the Shatta Movement. His projects include the BreakThrough album and Patience EP, while a forthcoming Rise Again EP is expected to showcase his continued focus on perseverance and artistic development.
