Dr Gideon Boako, Member of Parliament for Tano North, handed over motorised spraying machines to cocoa farmers in his constituency on Tuesday. The move is part of a broader effort to make cocoa cultivation less labour‑intensive and boost yields.
Boako said the intervention would give farmers practical tools to increase productivity and improve their standard of living. “Cocoa farmers deserve better, and I am pleased to support them with tools to make their work easier and more productive,” he told the crowd.
The MP thanked clergy, Muslim leaders, traditional authorities and community members for their participation in the initiative. He reiterated his commitment to continue backing constituents with measures aimed at enhancing living conditions.
