Avance Media, a leading African PR and research firm, and WatsUp Agency, a premium communication and talent management agency, announced the first Ghanaian New Media Powerlist for 2026. The list ranks 50 creators who shape digital conversations, culture and the country’s growing online economy.

YouTube star Kwadwo Sheldon secured the top spot, followed by TikTok personality Dada Ahoufe at number two, travel vlogger Wode Maya at three, entertainment blogger Zionfelix at four, and dancer‑choreographer Endurance Grand at five. The rankings span entertainment, comedy, lifestyle, travel, dance, news, food, commentary and online storytelling.

The Powerlist is data‑driven, analysing 120 leading creators with a combined audience of 330.5 million followers across six platforms. Three criteria—audience reach, digital visibility and content activity—determined each position. Women make up 28% of the list, with Endurance Grand as the highest‑ranked woman, followed by Afronitaa and Chefabbys.

Prince Akpah, founder of Avance Media, said the list “documents the people shaping Ghana’s digital space through a structured, data‑driven approach.” Abdoulaye Traore of WatsUp Agency added that the ranking offers a consistent basis for understanding creators’ influence year on year.

The 2026 edition establishes an annual exercise, accompanied by the Ghana Creator Economy Report, which will track industry developments and include platform‑specific rankings. The full list and detailed reports are available on New Media WKND’s website.

Stakeholders can use the Powerlist to gauge the evolving landscape of Ghana’s new media sector and to recognise the diverse talent driving digital engagement across the nation.
