Faith Group of Companies opened two new boreholes in the Tamale Metropolis, a newly built corporate office and a 102‑room hostel for students at the University for Development Studies (UDS) on Monday. The boreholes, located near Dakpema Palace and Nalung Fong, aim to improve access to potable water for residents of the area.
During the ceremony, CEO Elder David Owusu Yentumi highlighted the projects as another milestone in the firm’s growth and its commitment to community service. “Faith Group of Companies started with a vision to provide quality products and reliable services while creating opportunities for employment and contributing meaningfully to the development of our community,” he said. He added that the company’s success should be measured not only by financial growth but also by its impact on employment, customer satisfaction and responsible business practices.
The Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, Alhaji Adam Abubakari Takoro, who was represented at the event, praised the company for its resilience and its role in job creation and community development across the metropolis.
The inauguration gathered traditional and religious leaders, representatives of public institutions, company staff and other stakeholders, all of whom acknowledged the company’s ongoing efforts to support local communities.
Faith Group’s CSR initiatives continue to focus on addressing water shortages and providing accommodation for students, reinforcing its pledge to contribute meaningfully to the region’s development.
