At the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition’s 2026 Performance Review Retreat in Ho, Minister for Energy and Green Transition Dr John Abdulai Jinapor commended Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, for sustaining stability in Ghana’s petroleum market amid global disruptions.
Jinapor highlighted the collaborative efforts of the NPA and Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) in steering the downstream sector through the challenges posed by the ongoing Ukraine conflict and its ripple effects on international energy supplies.
“BOST and NPA, let me thank you. Edudzi, let me thank you; you have been fantastic. The war that we are facing has created a very difficult situation for us, and if you compare Ghana to other countries, clearly, we are an outlier because of the relationship we have,” the minister said, underscoring the institutions’ role in mitigating external market pressures.
The remarks underscored the importance of the NPA and BOST’s work as Ghana continues to navigate global uncertainties while bolstering resilience across the energy industry.
