The Centre for Policy Scrutiny (CPS) has lauded Channel One TV and Citi FM for broadcasting its research findings and policy recommendations to the public. A delegation led by CPS Executive Director Dr Adu Owusu Sarkodie met with the media organisation’s General Manager, Bernard Avle, to discuss the impact of the coverage.
During the meeting, Dr Sarkodie highlighted the shared mission of both institutions in shaping policy direction, promoting accountability and strengthening good governance. He urged for closer collaboration to bring critical national issues to a wider audience.
Avle welcomed the engagement, commending CPS for its research and policy advocacy and stressing the importance of independent research in fostering informed public discourse on national development.
The discussion also explored ways to tighten the link between policy research and media reporting, aiming to elevate the reach of CPS’s studies on education, economic management and the 2026 national budget.
The CPS delegation included Head of Corporate Affairs Kwaku Obeng‑Adjei and Programmes Officer Nana Yaa Dapaah.
