Cindy Crawford has expressed profound grief over the death of her son, Presley Gerber, who was 27 when he passed away on 20 September in a California rehab facility.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Crawford described Presley as a "sweet, beautiful soul" and praised his kindness and vulnerability, noting that the family is "beyond heartbroken".
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has listed the case as pending further investigation, while the Santa Monica Police Department has stated there is no indication of foul play. Police are treating the death as a suspected overdose.
Presley, who followed in his mother’s and younger sister Kaia’s footsteps, made his catwalk debut for Italian label Moschino at age 16 and had been active on social media, often sharing posts about mental health challenges.
Kaia Gerber also paid tribute, sharing childhood photos and a heartfelt letter to her brother, reflecting on their bond and her grief.
Presley’s father, businessman Rande Gerber, co‑founded the Casamigos tequila brand with George Clooney.
As the family mourns, the investigation continues, with authorities monitoring the case for any further developments.
