In a dramatic turn of events, Big Brother Naija’s Week 6 nominations have left 15 housemates, excluding Head of House Abi and Most Influential Player Sheba, on the eviction list. Former Gambits Aikou and Flora, who have just been released from their Gambit status, are now eligible to vie for the grand prize.
The nominations followed Big Brother’s decision to nullify earlier saves after housemates were caught discussing nominations and conspiring. The fresh slate now names Barry, Keivo, Gerard, Aikou, Tram, Araga, Flora, Bells, Oyin, Nomy, Yusuf, Chimsom Chuka, Temi Nkem, Ricky and Bluethopia as potential evictees.
During Sunday’s live show, Operation Release the Gambit gave viewers the power to decide whether either or both Gambits would be released. Voting closed on Monday, clearing both Aikou and Flora to compete for the prize after five weeks as Gambits. Their new status means they face the same risks as the rest of the housemates, including eviction.
Abi secured another week of safety after winning the Head of House challenge for the second time this season. Bells was named Benchwarmer for the second time after a five‑way tie between Yusuf, Sheba, Ricky, Bells and Nomy. With the tie unresolved, Big Brother used a dice roll, and Bells emerged as the final choice.
The housemates also faced a ₦5 million deduction from the prize money for repeated rule violations, reducing the total prize to ₦90 million.
