Harry Kane marked his 100th Bundesliga appearance with a goal in Bayern Munich’s 6-1 rout of RB Leipzig on Sunday. Luis Diaz scored a hat‑trick, while Aleksandar Pavlovic and Michael Olise added to the tally, pushing the Bavarians to the summit of the table.
The match began with Diaz opening the scoring in the 12th minute after a clever Kimmich pass, followed by Pavlovic’s near‑post finish and Olise’s bottom‑corner shot to give Bayern a 3-0 advantage before halftime.
In the second half, Diaz netted his second goal 95 seconds in, and Kane added his landmark goal with a tap‑in from Nathaniel Brown’s cut‑back. Diaz completed his hat‑trick with a right‑footed rocket from the edge of the box, while Andrija Maksimovic scored an injury‑time consolation for Leipzig.
Bayern registered 17 shots on target; Leipzig managed only one, saved 11 times by goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt. The victory leaves Bayern with 14 points, topping the table ahead of Freiburg.
Next up for Bayern is a Champions League clash with Arsenal at Allianz Arena on Wednesday, 21 October. Leipzig, meanwhile, sits seventh after a mixed start to the season.
