Dancehall Queen Aklerh announced that her forthcoming single “Wo Dor” will be released on Monday, 19 October under the Revolution Records label. The track, whose title means “My Love,” is a lovers’ rock slow‑burn that blends soft, melodic rhythms, mellow bass and harmonies with Aklerh’s honeyed vocals.
After two Afrobeat hits that expanded her audience, Aklerh says the new single is “a return to what first inspired me.” She added that “Wo Dor” showcases her versatility and the ability to swing between genres while freely expressing her creativity.
Aklerh noted that Tubhani Music performed well with the song, which marks her return to reggae. She described the track as “soulful, timeless, and sure to connect with listeners across generations.”
The artist’s previous Afrobeat singles, “Amele” and “Good Vibes,” highlighted her knack for contemporary rhythms and groovy hooks. With “Wo Dor,” she slows the tempo and embraces a timeless warmth, offering fans a tender, melodic counterpoint to her dancehall and Afrobeat work.
Known for electrifying performances, Aklerh continues to bridge modern sounds and musical tradition, creating songs that move both feet and heart.
