The gesture was met with gratitude from both the medical staff and families affected by the footballer’s benevolence. Child freedom Mr Odame, who spoke on behalf of the footballer, said it was very sad seeing the children detained in the hospital while their colleagues were in school learning. He emphasized the importance of children having their freedom to live a fulfilled life. He, therefore, expressed his excitement about the gesture while adding that there were other humanitarian initiatives in the pipeline.
